Olivia Warnecke for TSLY

Olivia Warnecke is a San Francisco-based painter and illustrator. Her main love is painting unusual birds, retired signage, floppy dogs, loud cats, curious foxes, and other fauna. Until October 2013, she was also found designing beautiful interfaces for handhelds, mobile devices, and other screens. Recently, she moved on to pursue painting & illustrating fulltime.

I have known Sue for 10 years; our common bond is fairly unique and goes well beyond art and craft. We are bonded by a shared past experience and she will always remain a sister to me. When she first gave word about her cancer, my heart was dropped onto the floor. Sue inspires so many people, from respected artists to young people just starting out. Her light should always be on and I would do anything for her.
