About
In April of 2014, artist Sue Eggen of Giant Dwarf was diagnosed with colon cancer. Although her journey hasn't been easy, Sue listened to her body, was brave enough to have things checked out and thanks to early detection of the disease, she is expected to make a slow, yet full recovery. Sue's in good spirits and armored with an amazing team of doctors at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a never-ending supply of love and support from family, friends and fans across the globe. To keep up with Sue, follow her on Instagram where she shares her journey with cancer with the tag #teamsuelovesyou.
Team Sue Loves You is a collective of celebrated American artists that have teamed up to design limited edition tote bags. The intention of the project is to raise awareness to colon cancer and support Sue as she recovers. Each of the 14 tote bag designs draw inspiration from Sue’s brave journey with the disease and resounding message of “listen to your body.”
The tote bags go on sale November 1, 2014 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society, as their support has been paramount to Sue's recovery during her treatment via Philly Patient Ride.
